ARREST AFTER MAN FOUND WITH STAB WOUNDS

A 55-year-old man has been arrested after another man was stabbed in Nottinghamshire.

Police said they were called to Pine View in the Radford area of Nottingham at about 19:25 GMT on Wednesday after reports a man had been assaulted.

The victim, whose injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, was found outside a property with stab wounds when emergency services arrived.

Nottinghamshire Police said the suspect was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

The force said it was continuing to appeal to the public to approach them with any relevant information.

Det Ch Insp Claire Gould, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "The person responsible for this attack is incredibly fortunate the victim didn't sustain far more serious injuries than they did."
